Good that the thread was split off to this. :) Addressing weixing's query in the other thread : Do you mean if driver A is driving at 90km/h (assume speed limit at 90km/h) at the right lane and a car behind driver A is going faster than that and driver A need to give way to him or driver A will be s...

that person behind you or I in the fast lane who wants to go faster may *need* to go faster - it could even be a medical emergency Just to be a little clearer, even police, civil defence and medical vehicles are only allowed to go a certain percentage (most of the time only up to 130% depending on ...

Anyway, I'll be away at the TV indulging in my other hobby (more like a great passion) - watching cricket! India vs Sri Lanka, very important game for the former. One wicket down for SL already, good start for India. :D

A bit off-topic, but Singapore drivers (in general) do have lots of little faults. Main thing that gets to me is the road-hogging in the fast lane that is so rampant here. Even if one is going above the posted limit, one should still yield to a car behind that wants to go quicker. Even if I were do...

So many traffic lights and so short a distance, you will reach any place in Singapore between high speed and stay in speed limit within 10 mins diff. So what is the rush. You're perfectly right, of course. Which is why it's pointless to speed in Singapore. And I don't do it anymore (at home), becau...

Wow 230 to 240! The max I am willing to go with my small toyota is 160 on Msian NS highway. Above that it is rather risky. Hmm...so looks like the mod car is the most expensive hobby. :P Heh heh, I've gone over 240 (top speed) on Sg roads before. Once. With my old bugeye WRX (since sold), back when...
