It was one of the darkest sky I can recall within Singapore Territory suitable for general star gazing or meteor showers watching or timelapse photography if the clouds stay away. Hi Croys and folks: Glad you did..... If you have a good view of the sky and can safely leave an open window to point and fire away your dsLR tethered to remote release or fired from laptop please do so. If no meteors than use the frames to create a time lapse avi instead. My battery conk so quickly...

You can check out the digital camera images of the perseids... so it is doable.
Lets do it for the Perseids. Point your dSLR camera out of the window and get as many exposure as you could.
