Hi all,
I just like to ask around owners of cooled ZWO cameras. Which cooled ZWO camera absolutely does not dew up in Singapore? I am just thinking if the ZWO camera window dew heater feature really works or not for us.

MWTS: Vixen VC200L [Sold]
Hi Guys, I am putting this up to survey interest in this special scope and to further trim my herd. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/385862-USA/Vixen_Optics_2632_VC200L_7_9_200mm_Catadioptric_Telescope.html This VC200L (not VMC) is essentially Vixen's Ritchey–Chrétien telescope for astrophotog...

Re: WTS: Legacy astrophotography cameras + 3 sets of imaging filters [final prices]
Hi guys, Just a quick bump by including this link to a CCD filter calculator: https://astronomy.tools/calculators/ccd_filter_size In this way, you can calculate if 1.25" filters work for your system. For example, a Redcat 51 with 183 camera and a filter-sensor distance of 28mm, is roughly the l...

WTS: Televue 3x barlow [SOLD]
Hi guys, I found another thing to let go and this is the hardly used 3x Televue barlow. Nowadays, the planetary cameras have small pixels so I don't need the 3x barlow to reach the optimal sampling. At the very edges of the field lens of the barlow, there are some smudges which I also don't know why...

Re: WTS: Telescopes, mount and accessories
Hello... EQ3 mount modified to AZ. Would it fit the Vixen SXG-S71 tripod? I have MIA so long already - lost touch with all the info. If it can fit - can have a photo ? Thanks Hi, Since the Vixen SXG-S71 tripod fits GP2 mount then it should fit EQ3. The "modification" of EQ3 that I did is ...

Re: WTS: Legacy astrophotography cameras [final prices]
Hi guys, I have reconfigured my system so I am keeping my SBIG ST-8300 (controlled by NINA) and the Lumenera works as the autoguider camera (controlled by PHD2). So here is the adjusted list of things to sell: 1) Atik 16HR Monochrome cooled camera (almost new condition, no box) - $200 2) SBIG STi au...

Re: Beginner Set Up - Chime in!
Hi, ZWO-AM3 would be slightly cheaper if your setup is not that heavy. You would need a guidescope and camera for guiding. Taking pictures under our light polluted skies would need at least a broadband filter such as Optolong L-Pro otherwise exposures will get washed out even with short exposures. M...
