Actually you can just buy a 2.5mm stereo plug, some wires, and a switch and hook it up. There are only 6 possible different combitions so it's easy to test and you can buy the components for under $2 at Sim Lim Tower, maybe add another $4 for bus fares and an ice-cream from the ice-cream man! Not ba...

I forgot to mention that these photos were taken by carefully placing my camera (both phone and digital) to the eyepiece of my cheap telescope. Of course I don't have a mount (planning to make one myself), so it requires very careful focusing, exposure, positioning and stillness. :) Going to collima...

The rosette Nebula is not in Orion, but in Monoceros. It's also very dim (Mag. 9) so it probably won't show up with my kind of photography.
