If I buy the LX90, have to ship by sea lah, otherwise it'll be very very expensive by air, enough maybe to buy a DSI! has anyone here experienced shipping literally by ship? as in by sea? cause i was considering it for my own scope before but horror stories on the net just completely convinced me t...

ETX 125EC w/UHTC - $1800
hi all, seeing the speed at which a previous ETX was just sold i thought i would put mine up for sale while there might still be a market, and use the cash for some upgrading heh heh.. i justify my higher selling price over the previous ETX just sold because of 2 important differences. (1) this come...

I used a knife to peel them carefully because it is too sticky. You will see a screw under each sticker. Slightly adjust the tightness of the screw until you achieve your comfortable level. Don't be afraid. I have abused my 410 mount by taking things apart but it is still working Anat haha the only...

You can adjust the stickiness of the 410 mount. Just slightly peel off the blue sticker. You will see a screw at the center. Then use an allen wrench to loosen the screw a bit. That is all. Anat wow serious? there are 3 stickers so i guess each controls the stickiness of each axis? how do you get t...

Good to see you again Eu-wen ! Yup, the 405 head can take ~ 7.5kg, but the price is in the range of S$700-S$800 ? Also, the problem of vibrations will still remain unless the slow motion mechanism on the 405 is about as smooth as or smoother than those found on EQ3-2 and above mounts. The one on th...

wow its been a long time since i've posted. anyway, my take on this. i have found the slomo controls of the 410 to be very hard to use for any scope. very irritating especially if the scope is fairly long. but if you comfortable with using the 410, then i actually use a manfrotto 405 which is basica...
