Re: Satellite Tracking

He's not trying to image Earth or Space from a satellite in orbit, he is trying to track and image satellites in orbit from Earth, with his Telescope. Clarence, here's one program that allow our telescopes to track satellites. SkyTrack from HeavenSc...

Re: My astrophotography 2021

Stunning!
Every night I attempt to image Rho Ophiuchus I get clouded out or fogged out! I think it doesn't want to be photographed.

Re: My astrophotography 2021

Nice attempts hhzhang. I couldn't be bothered opening up my observatory when another member was opening his, so I sat next to him and we got some reasonable results considering it was cloudy, windy, and raining here. Camera was a Canon 450d in an ED80 on HEQ5 mount. Captured with Backyard EOS, 7 sec...

Re: catch the super flower blood moon eclipse on may 26

I saw the Eclipse from here in Australia but cloud stopped me from seeing it at totality when it turned orange! Holes in the cloud allowed me to see thin crescents either side of totality.
Was still good to watch

Re: Unable to access Highpointscientific.com website

Even though we can open Astro Shop websites from across the world we can't buy many items from them, and definitely not Telescopes or mounts. We have to buy from dealers here in Australia. All Overseas shops say they can't send to Australia because companies like Meade, Celestron etc won't let them....

Re: My astrophotography 2021

. . . But no human being has ever been able to track a full circle of Neptune's motion (164.8yr) in his/her lifetime. I'm sure Methuselah might have  Beautiful landscape shot :) https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3dstPHoBUGdlajL14uA9lqkqwqo-crGmI9qEKJVk_4m_VanrEribbpYH8ndnL9seg2mKOF...
