It works great cos I can level the mount by adjusting the plate bolts and I can easily adapt the top plate for different mount heads.

The idea of grab-and-go scope and mount is often a small scope with a light weight alt-azimuth mount to grab and start observation at the drop of a hat when the seeing is good and time is limited. The best scope is the one that is used most often as the saying goes. But it does not always have to me...
