If you don't have Channel U, you can see it "live" and free on Sunstopper.sg (http://sunstopper.sg). They start live feed at 08:50am from Yangshan Island off SHanghai. Good for those in office (like me) with internet access but no TV. (and cannot take leave. :) They also have a version tha...

It's the longest eclipse of the 21st century. 6 min 39 sec (tho that's somewhere in the Pacific Ocean or near Ryukyu Islands).

But Shanghai will get like 5 minutes of darkness. :)
