Here is a shot of Orion Nebula I took from my balcony taken by my D90 using 200mm f/5.6, 160 1600 exp 3s

I have yet to take a shot of the nebula using my 8" dob.

Fantastic image. Whats your camera Aperture and shutter speed used if I may ask?

Thanks. Using Orion 8" dob using with 12.5mm and shot thru eyepiece.

When does the Orion Nebula start to become visible in Singapore? Around January?

We get quite a bit of light pollution in Singapore. Galaxy shots like the one posted above might be possible in the outskirts of Malaysia. I have seen a night sky similar to this in Kulai, Malaysia about 1.5hr drive from Singapore.
