Would agree with Cat on the sweet spot between CONFIG 0 and 3. Seems maybe, your previous set up of CONFIG 1 may be nearest to that spot. Perhaps the new spacer will bring it there or if not...near between 0 and 3. The flaring, as mentioned, does repel each other indicating it is between 1 and/or 2....
