Nice setup, Hong Joo! I guess one of the best way to spend your time in isolation is to do obbing! And it's free too. No mask or sanitiser needed! :) Hope you are safe there and clear skies too.
Thanks. I’m doing well so far :)

Re: My Astrophotography Journey

I'm thankful for this hobby that allows me to appreciate how vast and majestic this universe is. Tells me that there is perhaps a Creator out there! My friends are often surprised by the beauty when I share it with them; amazed, they often asked how I would set up. With the coronavirus going on here...

Re: Milky Way and M83 with iPhone

Wow that's pretty cool... developing an app that could take long exposure with iPhone. I wonder what the noise level of the phone is? :)
You might want to consider taking it in a darker place and have a tripod to hold down your camera. The MW looks pretty legit!

Re: My Astrophotography Journey

OK ok... i didn't give up... Here's my latest effort to try to correct the color gradient. I'm also documenting my learning and sharing with folks who may face the same situation; also in the future in case I forget too :) The earlier photo was stitched using Adobe Lightroom which didn't turn out as...

Re: My Astrophotography Journey

This is the last of the astro shot taken for the recent trip. It's one that proof the most challenging for me. For some reason I did a lousy job with the stitch job. You could see the different color tones. The way the program blended the photos just didn't come out well. Any ideas of how to do this...

Re: My Astrophotography Journey

Here's another shot taken at Mesa Verde National Park. A single shot was taken with a 24mm Samyang lens at f2.0. ISO 6400 @ 20s. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48450747582_7cd5392e17_k.jpg https://flic.kr/p/2gPqKfW Very beautiful shot! That aircraft light at the top right looks like a comet! :...

Re: My Astrophotography Journey

Another photo taken at Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a pretty cloudy night and this is what I managed to get. A total of 18 shots were taken to build the panoramic milky way.

Re: My Astrophotography Journey

Photo taken at Rocky Mountain National Park at Colorado. A really beautiful place with snowcap mountains view. A combination of 4 shots were taken. 2 for the sky and 2 for the foreground. This is one of the few times I took with a high focal length and it turn out not too bad. Shot taken at 50mm f4....
