Re: My astrophotography 2021
Nice job taking the MW under such heavy light population. Did you take this using ETTR? 2021-7-16 The previous evening saw me stuck in the traffic jam and missed the sunset by merely 1 minute. Today went out early but alas, the ugly clouds in the north-western sky! Went up to a remote beach to try t...

Re: My Astrophotography Journey
Had a bit of time to go back to my past photos. Realized I had not posted this previously. Photo of a full moon taken in Death Valley National Park, USA. Photo taken at ISO1000, 160mm, F7.1. I'm working on editing a photo of MW taken at Death Valley during a full moon. My photoshop skills is still n...

Re: Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex
Thanks. I see your iso is set at 400, probably because of light pollution in Singapore. In this case it’s even more impressive that you can take a shot like this!!!

Re: Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex
nice picture. I have always been mesmerized by Rho Ophiuchi for some reasons.
Curious to know why you are taking only 15 sec exposure when you have mounted on a star adventurer? Is that because you are taking it at 135mm?

Nice shots! I can really see the difference before and after stacking!!!
I have never really been very successful with DSS. I use a mac computer and it somehow doesn't work well even when you have an emulator. Don't know of any other software that does stacking.

Re: My Astrophotography Journey
I'm thankful for this hobby that allows me to appreciate how vast and majestic this universe is. Tells me that there is perhaps a Creator out there! My friends are often surprised by the beauty when I share it with them; amazed, they often asked how I would set up. With the coronavirus going on here...

Re: Milky Way and M83 with iPhone
Wow that's pretty cool... developing an app that could take long exposure with iPhone. I wonder what the noise level of the phone is?
You might want to consider taking it in a darker place and have a tripod to hold down your camera. The MW looks pretty legit!
