How about organizing the next session at the patch of field in front of Tanah Merah MRT? It's not exactly an ideal place, but slightly darker than TP sports ground. Being beside the MRT, it's convenient for everyone....Super convenient for me! Duh!

Looks like most of the "stars" are noise from your camera's CCD.

I think I read Asia Weekly, mentioned the Chinese are already doing a Moon manned project. The Yanks prefer sending satellites. Cheaper and practical.

Beginner shots with lousy equipment

I finally ignored Murphy's law and took my first few astro shots last year. Shot with lousy lens, flimsy tripod, Unbranded film in strong wind conditions. I did not expect to get any nice images at all. But to me, as a first timer, these grainy, blurry images were shocking good. http://www.nikonians...
