Just received an email from Astronomy.com on the online auction of "multi-million dollar inventory" of astro equipment. It sounds like a liquidation sale?

I checked which company is established since 1947 and so far found OPT. Not sure if there are other companies also founded in 1947?

Tachyon, a pity you did not keep your stuff in dry boxes but $500 is a bargain for a Nexstar 8 as long as you know how to disassemble and clean the optics. :) Unfortunately, I only have 4 1.7m dry boxes and I can't put everything in (I still have camera stuff). So naturally I have to prioritise.......
