Note that the "new" SD Doublet APO costs US$399 which is the same as the Orion semi-APO. The triplet APO costs US$499. I still wonder why WO maintains too many similar products (three 66mm scopes, and five 80 mm scopes). Just my feelings Anat WO lens come from many lens makers. Like TMB, ...

This tube is made by OEM of William Optics. It's convenient to adapt to many types of rings. The ED lens is made by Synta. I checked its achromatic aberretion is lower than their achromatic 80mm lens. However, the image quality is not any better than fluorite lens Tak FS-78.

Philips ToUCam Pro II is now selling in Taiwan in very cheap price (<S$50/ea) in Nov 2005. I think the vendor will sell it in Singapore soon. This webcam is superior on the low noise.

get an em-10 first la, perfect for up to 5" apo or a c9.25. i'm selling mine for us$1200 only :-) In my opinion, the EM-200 and G-11 are suitable to mount C9.25 and 5" APO. For the future telescopes, the G-11 can mount up to 25Kg. G-11 is poor in trace, if you want to take an astrophotogr...
