guess I'm lucky! over the years of meteor gazing I have seen hundreds! From the twin-train orange Leonids, blue dazzling Leonids in the next year, orange fireball like Perseids, White glowing Geminids and lately, blueish slow Orionids, my total count has exceeded at least 300! :)

The two Magellanic clouds were actually quite obvious when I was flying from Singapore to Brisbane overnight. They were to the right of the airplane's track. Very very nice! Just saw Orionids and the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds!

Was flying over Australia and was watching the skies when I saw at least 3 Orionids! The train was nice and glowing! One of the nicest ones lasted over 10 degrees and about 2 seconds! Magnitude of about -1! Then I noticed two glowing patches, one big and one small in the sky, near the Milky Way Gala...

My horrendous Saturn shoot gone wrong...

Took overexposed photos...sigh..maiden attempt and failed...so sad...

No chance to retake because the skies are now covered in clouds again.

here are a few sad cases. With and without 10x zoom from my Olympus C730UZ.

I should had reduced the exposure time...

Hope tomorrow won't be cloudy because I want to try taking photos of Saturn. Heehee. :)

wah sounds interesting! where was the last time anyone saw one? I used to spot bright objects in the skies too! But didn't notice if they exploded since I only have my eyes..hee
