Hi, I need to get 4 binos for my school's astro club within the next two weeks. My budget is about S$2000 (max S$3000), which must also includes some kind of mount/tripod for the binos (maybe 2 of these are enough) I have read through a few of the posts, but I think I still need recommendations for ...

Went down to the Science Centre shop to take a look at the scopes. OMG, the C6 Newtonian is huger than I expected. Surely cannot lug around. But the C130 Mak is small and portable, so I guess the Skywatcher 127 should be around that size also. The C130 Mak is selling at S$1180 without GST and tripod...
