public library magazine section have about 5-6 issues of astronomy magazine , inside is 50% articles 50% advertisement.

if 2 scopes "same diameter" then same magnification will give you same brightness or "exit pupil diameter" the other factors that can change the "real world effect" 1) mirror may be about 90% in reflectivity fresh from factory and slowly age 1% per year to 80-81% region...

According to the chart , 90mm F5.5 is around the same CA as 80mm F/5

You need to keep the telescope and eyepieces in airtight dry storage too , that will take up more space and $ budget. Having the telescope mounted on the tripod as in display piece at home , only works for other country with dry climate , low humidity in air. 5se and 6se is different at the mount to...

Celestron USA replied to some cloudynight forumers many years ago that the SCT set of optics are "matched" @ the factory , that's why no individual parts
like you stack 2 pringles potato chip u need both to match to fit nicely , even a little rotation offset and they don't stack well.
