How well does the plywood straight cut work in the finder shoe bracket ?
I thought it's necessary for the trapezoid shape for consistent mounting every time , couldn't cut that angle on my jigsaw and didn't proceed.

Bought a pair of L bracket from Mr DIY store , cost SGD $3.90 for a pair , at JB it cost RM 8.90 (SGD 2.80) There are many different style L bracket at affordable price , for this design I slowly picked the set out of a dozen with least flaws at the critical welding point. A little progress on what works and mistakes made. The wood in 19-20mm thickness plank format not strong enough to withstand drilling so many holes within a tight disk to stack 2 together. The colourless fault could be due to too low to horizon
if higher than 45 degree and around 150x mag still colorless then can move onto guessing other fault
