woah... can't remember exactly which tour package... Was some years back already... But it included a 2 days treking among the nature parks and some hot spring thingy after the climb to the top... Think its best u do ur obs during the 2 days... Views can be quite fantastic due to the remote location...

gone there before... My advice would be to wear adequate clothing coz it can be quite cold at the top... will be a tad under 0 degrees... And the winds will be chilling. Not sure whether u can do observations up there coz most ppl will climb up early in the morning and reach there for sunrise. A lit...

Hi, I was oberserving through my stellarvue nighthawk at abt 4am this morning when I saw this little brigh star with a little glow on its tail. Its location was slightly above the moon. It was bluish-green with a tinge of orange along with it on its tail. Was it a comet or meteor that I saw? Or sumt...

One more thing... i'm using a manfrotto 190 tripod. Won't I have to continually shift around to keep the object in my field of view? Won't that spoil my picture at higher magnification and long shutter times? Are scoptronix the only company that producce adapters? And one more thing, u need an adapt...
