Cheap Battery tank can be bought from Looi in KL

Hi

Looi in KL (official SEA Meade dealer) sent me two battery tanks for my LX200 GPS and ETX a few months ago and they are just as good as the Celestron ones. His price is pretty cheap - a fraction of the price of the Celestron ones.

Call him.

Baader solar filter

Recently I bought a Kendrick solar filter which uses the Baader astrosolar safety film. I checked the Baader material against a halogen light and counted at least 50 tiny pinholes <1mm in size. What causes such pinholes? Granted the pinholes are extremely small but isn't it false advertising when th...

I don't have Paypal only credit card.

You mentioned the 1rpd had internal reflections. That is when looking at planets or star clusters?

The UO Konig is out of stock for at least 1 month, unfortunately.

Debash, did you order thru Helix's website or via University Optics site via credit card? How long did they take to ship to singapore?

Thanks for the link - 24mm TAL eyepiece sounds interesting. Will check it out.

Why do you prefer the Konig over the 1 rpd when the latter is cheaper?

Tried out the UO MK70 32mm konig yet

Pretty fair weekend weather wise. Debash, did you try out the UO 35mm MK70 Konig yet? I am deciding between ordering the UO 35mm MK70 Konig or the 1rpd from Astrobuffet or maybe even the Widescan III eyepiece. Debash, did you have any problems ordering the UO 35mm Konig from University Optics? How d...
