SQM Values for Mersing

Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone has ever taken the SQM value for Mersing trips (mostly to Sri Kandi resort)? Or does anyone have an SQM device available to help measure the SQM value there? I require this value to do a location comparison of potential stargazing sites.

Thanks a lot!

Weather permitting, join us in bidding Saturn goodbye for 2018 shortly after sunset, and enjoy a still spectacular Mars and gibbous M...

iOptron SkyGuider pro

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone in Singapore has used an iOptron SkyGuider Pro? Would love to be able to test it out if anyone has them. I'm planning to get a light photography set-up, but that may run me rather close to the theoretical limit of the SGpro, hence it would be nice if I could ha...

Re: DIY Barn Door Tracker

Wood: Tombalek.com Hardware: RS Components or Monotaro Alignment to Polaris is really only necessary if doing high power and/or super long exposure. In my opinion, neither is recommended for a barndoor tracker. Just point roughly north and level, and shoot wide. Thanks so much for the help! I'm kin...

DIY Barn Door Tracker

Wondering if anyone has made a barn door tracker before? I know there was a post previously on this forum regarding that, but unfortunately the pictures are currently inaccessible. I would mainly just like to know where I can get most of the materials, such as customised wood boards, gears, nuts and...
