Hi All,
Seeking expert help here to collimate and clean my astromaster 130 primary mirror. I tried understanding the method but looks greek to me. lol.
Willing to pay a small token for the bro/sis for the effort!

I am using manual, and it is really not easy to locate objects of interest, unless you have real clear skies with visible star patterns. Your finder scope and main scope must really be in sync! A bit off centred and you will find you got to use the slow motion to make adjustment till the object is l...

True. Actually apart from seeing the solar eclipse, one of the things I enjoy is shared my scope with some curious onlookers. They knew there is eclipse and this guy with the scope must be seeing it

I will probably catch it at the park outside my home with my scope. I think is best time to capture some flares with my filter.

Personally, I would prefer the telescope over bino as you can see planets and more deep sky objects with telescope. With special filter, you can see the sun with its sunspots too.
I am using astromaster eq 130. It is short tube, easy to handle. Just that I find the focal length a bit short (650 mm).
