Nice lightning shots! But do take care of your own safety when attempting such shots. The lightning looks near and you seems to be shooting at open fields. perhaps next time shoot under a shelter will be better. :) thanks for advice! visually it's looked near and i also initially guessed it was wit...

using speed of light/sound, calculated that it was ard 2km away/above. was even thinking of gg down to the open field beside the construction site or nearby multi-storey carpark to shoot, but thinking that Thor was so near, i dropped the thought...

the long line is not a meteor. it's a satellite. meteors normally don't last that long and their trails aren't that straight. if you check heavens-above.com you can find out what satellites were overhead for the date/time the photo was taken. but it's probably an Iridium satellite. oic… hahaha, tha...

taken at 9pm earlier...
1/60s at f/4.0, iso 400
guess the shutter speed was a bit slow, thus the moon was not sharp.
then a few minutes later...
1/125s at f/4.0, iso 400
moon was at least sharper.
