Re: Stargazing on a island

u can try the Seringat Island which is linked via a landbridge with St. John. Have recce the place a few months ago in the daytime. That part have almost next to zero streetlight. However a "permit" is required to stay overnight in St. John. The "C-shaped" beach would be an ideal...

Re: My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)

Not sure whether this is the same meteor. But I was one of witnesses that Gary mentioned. Some details maybe can help to determine whether this was the same one: the meteor I saw definitely looks greenish in color. Re: My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)

Looks like an airplane. Too evenly lit up (perhaps due to over-processing?). This is a good example of TWO meteors captured recently by UK Meteor Network: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BRic6FCCIAAHCwU.jpg Leftmost = plane. The rest = meteors. ya! saw many fotos on my fb timeline, all claiming a meteo...

Re: My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)

shot near nicoll highway stn, a few hours ago. though this foto not exactly astro-related, but this was shot toward the Sagittarius/Scorpio direction. some of the brighter stars were still captured.
