Hi djoko, I would like to upgrade to the latest version, but there is a lack of know-how and available hands. Would you like to help? Maybe we could link up with Derek at Astronomy.sg ( http://www.singastro.org/viewtopic.php?t=6926 ) and host the wiki there instead. Transferring the info looks easie...

Boothee, LOVE the shots. You should send them in to Astronomy or Sky and Telescope to have them published, if you wish ;) For the star trails, they look a bit too white and unnatural to me. Were they colour corrected? For the first photo, just need to clean up some of the hot pixels and I think it's...

EXIF file should have the exact time? Was the sun setting directly below the picture? While we would all be very happy to confirm that it is a piece of space debris burning up, I have to point out that it could well be a high altitude fighter jet. The sonic boom would have caused the noise, and a sh...

Did you ask the salespeople? I remember seeing a whole shelf. And it's located it quite an indiscreet corner.

Yup, it's very good for general use. No complaints.

Should be available at all Carrefour outlets. Got mine from Suntec.

$25 binoculars at Carrefour

For those who don't know, Carrefour is having a sale on their binoculars. Personally, I have no complaints with their binos and have had great times observing with them. Great to have pair that you can bring for trips without worries, to throw in your bag or boot, or to just give away. At this price...

Hi,

Have you read Singastrowiki? There is some info on equipment and what binoculars to buy.

As far as I know, there is no easy way to attach a DSLR to a binoculars - you'll get a much better result anyway with any zoom lens.

My favorites are probably the most recent Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away though :D Haha.. same here.. go...
