Hi, need advice on how to mount an 8" SCT OTA on a standard tripod. Can I use manfrotto 410 head to mount 8" lx200 or c8 OTA? and what tripod should i use. I'm considering to purchase the OTA only, without the fork arm and the electronic bells and whistles...

Does anyone know where to buy eyepiece/barlow screw here? According to Weasner's ETX website the screw size is 3MM dia. by 0.5MM thread pitch.

it's a Velbon VGB-3 tripod, bought from peninsula plaza for about sgd180. should be able to handle up to 15kg load (that's what the seller said), the etx90 together with digicam is ard 6kg. some vibration problem during strong wind.
