it depends if the mount could be adjusted to Singapore's latitude, some mounts only operate @ 20-55degree range, but some also works on 0-50deg. It's a good idea to check first, but my guess is that EQ2 would work for 0-50deg or maybe more. There could be a minor problem about the counterweight shaf...

hehe, i saw it through my 1/500 secs shots.
