Hi Alfred, wow !!! your scope should be call Hyper Mod H-A Scope instead of Frankenscope, congratulations on the successful Modification. From this scope, we can see Chromoshere Flare distinctly and all the plasma flow in 3-D view

Hi Alfred, with reference to your 30 Apr Collections of Solar images, while the first two of them i can figure out are Hydrogen Alpha & Calcium K images i think, the last two close up views are they taken with Hydrogen Alpha also ? Looks like requiring very large Etalon unit and tight specificat...

So, i did image again on 24 Apr 2016 after 4.00 p.m. using the shorten nose piece, it focus better, used it briefly & quickly switched to test a PST to Digital Cam dedicated eyepiece projection made by TS Service, part number is PSTfotoR. Using same old Canon 500D, filter mod camera, i got this ...

Nice work Alvin, i just started to do solar imaging, below is my 2nd attempt on 17 Apr 2016 with PST - DS, not able to get a good focus with my Canon 500D with 2X Barlow, had cut down the length of nose piece and hope to try again tomorrow, meanwhile, will like to consult you how normally people use...
