Takahashi or Televue 4" Refractors
Hi After doing some research and attending some star parties.. I have narrowed down to 2 Refractor scopes. Namely Takahashi TSA 102 and Televue NP101. Both in my opinion are very good scopes and I'm torn as to which to choose. The NP101 has a in-build flattener and a fast scope of f5.4. Not sure abo...

I think any scope can do AP just to how much details and clarity you want. The VMC200 definately can do AP and visuals well enough for SG skies and will perform better in MY. A second hand VMC OTA will set you back around $1000 with shipping. For R200S you can consult Weixing cos i think he has one...
