Not a bad attempt on the corona HDR. The corona extended quite away from the Sun...Wow!

My defination of contact time is when the lunar mean limb touch the solar limb.

The following pic is for your reference...just a second different between images. The right hand image closer to contact time but yet...still slightly more to approach the contact point...

Although 2013 seem far...but it should long enough to save some budget for that...
I am also thinking a way to go Easter Island for the TSE.

For my own images, I determined the duration is 7m 41s. It is about 5 minutes less. I would like to know yours res...

According to what I know, most of people think an annular picture is not real if the annularity too center...but if it offset a bit, people will feel it is really annular eclipse.
