My defination of contact time is when the lunar mean limb touch the solar limb.

The following pic is for your reference...just a second different between images. The right hand image closer to contact time but yet...still slightly more to approach the contact point...

Ya, very nice and wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing. BTW, I am wondering, have you try to determine the annularity duration from the images you capture? I am interested to know it. For my own images, I determined the duration is 7m 41s. It is about 5 minutes less. I would like to know yours res...

According to what I know, most of people think an annular picture is not real if the annularity too center...but if it offset a bit, people will feel it is really annular eclipse.
