M51 Whirlpool Galaxy

Attempted M51 with my 6" Newtonian, it is not very well-suited for imaging due to its 1.25" focuser that does not support coma correctors. However, I am still pleased with its performance. Low integration time for broadband data, about 2 hours. L-extreme was used to isolate Ha regions and ...

Carina Nebula in HaRGB

Shot from my bedroom window over January-March, data is not great and the stars are abysmal, ranging from haloes, aberrations and backfocus/tilt issues.

WTB: Skywatcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack

Looking for a Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack, would be great if a good tripod is included. McGill sells it for $709 and other overseas websites also around this price, so I am hoping to spend a little less. Thanks

Thanks! I don't have a permanent setup in the sense that I don't need to move my equipment, but I image from my home balcony so I don't move my things around very much.

[FOUND]WTB: Good quality 70-80mm triplet/quad APO with reducer/flattener

Hello, as stated in the title I am looking for a good quality triplet apo refractor with aperture of 70-80mm. I would prefer if flattener/reducer-flattener is included with the refractor. I have been looking at the Esprit 80, William Optics GT71/81 or meade flat field quad. Would like to spend <$150...
