Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
Hi,All Lets all enjoy our day and night sky more than spend our time arguing about theory and hypothesis. The sun, till today is too complex to understand and DEFINITELY more experimental data needed. The whole trouble is ,nowadays, cut here, cut there to spend on arms and weapons--both research into hu...

Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
Now then as you had so claimed, can you quote all the exact words, sentences, paragraphs, images or any pertinent animations as well as the UVS webpages that were changed in response to your supposed refinements of UVS? I'll just quote one example: "Note: It was labeled as a magnetic Ring Cent...

Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
So is this a theory or not? "Archimedes was possibly the first scientist that is known to have described nature with axioms (or principles) and then deduce new results from them. He thus tried to describe "everything" starting from a few axioms. Any "theory of everything" i...

This is fun! The strings of alphabetic character that represent me are joining you all in similar forms going to Mars in MAVEN!
Thanks for the info.

Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
Hi superiorstream, greeting. Your posts were very interesting indeed. And with more than three decades of solar observation, you must have lots to offer about the Sun. Agreed with your observation on the overall picture of the sun as a dipole should not be fixed naturally. The effect of the cycle 24...

Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
Hi TS, i find many questionable points about your 'theory'. However i will only mention 2. Hi ChaosKnight, I have no idea who is TS, but judging from what was articulated, you might be addressing the content to me. UVS propositions on comet phenomena cannot be considered as a theory by the mainstre...

O:IB - The photo of conviction The photo of solar eclipse in 1919 taken by Arthur Eddington , although cannot be considered as a beautiful picture by photography standard, it was significantly the initial proof for Einstein's theory of relativity; this is a breathtaking photo of conviction in the t...

Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
If Gary and Clifford don't find UVS is too far fetched, I would be glad to meet up with you guys in upcoming sidewalk astronomy sessions on a less formal setting to present the hypothesis. Vincent, I don't find it too far fetched. Not even before I first heard about this from Mr Au a few months ago...

Re: Operation: ISON Barycentrism for Comet ISON enthusiasts
Hi Dark Neptune, I've never heard of Universal Vortical Singularity (UVS) before. It seems quite complex. Perhaps you could give a talk on this to explain the theory? Or with a less formal setting such as over coffee, dinner, etc. Am sure they would be interest! Hi starfinder, You are correct, UVS ...
