backlash adjustment on CG5 GOTO

I just learnt what backlash was (from a non-astro friend) and saw my CG5-GOTO had the option to set it. The manual recommended some values but I don't see any difference. I had tried from the recommended 20-50 but it didnt' make any difference. I then incresed in steps of 10 untill i hit the maximum...

i think any of the seniors here will be more than willing to teach but you've got to join them for their observation session. That's what I did. Nothing beats real time explaination with the real sky.

I'm not sure there's any good ob sites in AMK.

most laser led that are sold in the market come in a sealed modules. looks similar to common red/green LED where it is manufactured and cast in 1 piece

There's basically nothing you can do about it, i suspect that the led module had cracked.
