Yes, Cambridge Star Atlas is used by me as a second choice other than the Stars and Planets. The atlas give very detailed and accurate maps and all the stat. of objects located inside the atlas. Yea, agree on the equipment fest! But i felt i got niche for predicting weather this few months (probably because im living so high up, i can see oncoming clouds!). Of course! But as you already see, the sky is very bad now.
It rained earlier and I was hoping it will clear up but unfortunately, the rain was not heavy....maybe next week ? But then the almost-full moon will be in the way.... :cry:

Well, we have alot of choice because it's near lim chu kang. The place there have alot of dark site which is very near Malaysia too as for location i'm not sure what is the name for it. any pre-requisite for entry into SPAC? naturally you have to be an SP student! :lol: But SP does have close links with Singastro through Remus and they normaly extend invitation to Singastro members for their overnight sessions. its just that skies have not been good....but be patient!..heh heh rich

I'm using a Nextstar 4. I'm not sure if the fringing is because of image manipulation. The photos numbered with letters are actually "photoshoped" to (atttemp to) contrast the rings. Took the shots at around 3am when Saturn is near mid-sky. I was a little lazy and took that from my bedroo...
