For Android there is an app LunarMap HD, you can get different lunar map including the far (dark) side. There are a lot of information about the moon including where the different Apollo landed.

Map in colour, false colour, greyscale for both sides of moon, I've a total of 9 different maps.

Re: Help getting a Starter Scope

I think she can try to find a 2nd hand MAK from this forum at her budget. Of course she can ask the site on the 90mm MAK on the shipping c...

Re: Help getting a Starter Scope

Yes, the 90mm new MAK setup for US$200/- is a good price especially as the 1st budget scope. Re: Help getting a Starter Scope

Orly, please don't scare the lady. Each one of us the expectation is different. Some took an AP shot with the hp is already very happy, while others still not happy with a $10k setup because it is not Hubble's standard. I managed to take a single frame shot of NGC3532 via bino I am quite happy with ...

Re: Biggest aperture to fit in car boot

Hi KushTROID, Welcome, I transported a 16" DOB and someone a 18" DOB with car. I did it with back seat for the mirror and boot for the other items. Because DOB can collapse to small. SCT, up to 14" shouldn't be a problem for empty boot. Also know someone transported 2 sets of big tak ...
