ahhh i was trying to catch some meteors today morning from 2.30am to 3.15am and i only saw 1. the sky was very very clear it's the low clouds that spoil the vision of the sky.

You can look around websites and see the reviews and comments on the telescope. I suggest you go down to ssc to have a look.
