I do obbing from my balcony. East coast area 25th floor. Awesome view of southern sky. Some times I go up to the rooftop (31st floor) to do obbing with friends. It is above all the light pollution so I can see lots of things, including all the stars in the big dipper and in a clear night, more than ...

He says it is made in China and Bosma is a China brand. Joo Beng selling it as a set with a tripod for 400+ only. Looked through it once and it rather remarkable for the price. The tube is rather solid, thus good option for a guidescope. However, fringing can be seen and I don't recommend it for ast...

Depends on what you are taking, if taking nebulosity, just play around with curves and histohram. YouTube has plenty of video tutorials on that. Narrowband filters work too, such as o3 and s2 filters. Any suggestions on what should I get then? If the ultra block gives me green images, i can change t...

I suggest you to go for the Vixen R150S Newtonian Reflector Telescope. It is a good beginner scope, but can also be suited for the amateur astronomer who wish to do serious observations. It is more portable than a dobsonian, meaning you can carry it onto public transport and won't look like a funera...

I bought one last year, the mount is crap, but you can see the moon, jupiter, saturn with it. M45,44 and 42 can also be visible, so are jewel box cluster and omega centauri. But be warned that the images are not very impressive and it tend to suffer from much spherical and chromatic aberration. Coll...

Wow, that is a really good deal. I am kind of trying to find a guide scope for my school's telescope, i think that will do. Any idea on how to buy that? Cause I am not familiar with ebay, or anyone who have a scope of decent aperture and a decent price to let go? Shippin seem to be a big whammy here...
