Actually, how much does an average scope cost? I was about to buy the telescope from Carrefour when someone mentioned it's ...

Hi all, Its ok . My point of reasoning is this: I have been going to reunion dinners for 20+ consecutive years. Just missing one this year wont make much of a difference. Besides, the relatives always ask and me the same old questions. Im sick of it already. I rather try out my telescope this weeke...

cos I still not too sure how to find orientation on the sky... You can use a compass. Do you still have one left over from NS or Scout days? I've just read the FAQ on "North Pole Shifting". They mentioned that the compass is used to detect the magnetic North, ...

Dude, dun worry about the energy or enthu part. I am so fully packed with it that you might thought I had Energizer for breakfast, lunch, dinner + supper. ;) But setting a scope up may be a killer... I thought the scope is simply an "open & aim" sort of equipment...?!?! (@_@) If the sk...

Actually, many things fascinate me. The Universe fascinate me the most, since young. As they say, "Curiousity kills the Kat". :) I doubt I can be a good astronomer though. This is such an expensive and complicated hobby... Hmm.. Guess I'll have to go ransack the Library again for a suitabl...

Hi Airconvent, I am a newbie in Astro, a total astro-dummy who is rather IT unsavvy. It took me quite a while to at last find this website with so many astro-enthu in Singapore. I am so astro-dummy that I can only recognise the sun and the moon (plus of course, my parents & friends). I love the ...
