Re: C11 and C9.25

"Note I never said DIY the eyepiece cleaning so I don't see where we disagree. :mryellow:"

Orly, No disagreement whatsoever! I was just sharing that it was myself that mess up the eyepieces. That may be the reason that I was charged higher for the cleaning :mryellow:

Re: C11 and C9.25

Hi Orly Thanks for your comments. I just send my request to astro-bargain for my eyepieces and cpc cleanup. Awaiting their reply. I agree that getting from US via parallel import would be much cheaper. But what about support if there are issues with the scope, with scope delivery, warranty being voi...

Re: C11 and C9.25

cloud cover, that for your inputs. I have considered the scope buggy, but living in a hdb it might not be suitable for obvious reasons. ( I afraid thinking of CPC toppling over me at place there there are steps etc? :) btw, what do you think of the trade in I mention CPC trade in for 8se with all ey...

Re: C11 and C9.25

Hi Orly and all Thanks for your offer. I really appreciate the help. Honestly I have a bit more problem then that. As I have been out of astronomy for 2 years (Slip disc was really a big issue, bedridden for almost 3 months). I want to get back to the hobby therefore my decision to get a lighter set...

Re: C11 and C9.25

"BTW if you decide to defork your CPC925, I have an ADM Vixen bar and the radius blocks for mounting a C9.25 to any Vixen-compatible mount. As I've moved to Losmandy accessories, it is gathering dust here so I'd want to sell it." Thanks for the great ideas! Next question is how do I go ahe...

Re: C11 and C9.25

Thanks Orly and cloud cover for your comments. I actually have a cpc 9.25 already. The problem with the cpc is that the weight is 58lb for the 9.25 and 65lbs for the cpc 11( just for the mount and scope without tripod). Way over the limited for so called portability for one person. I had a slip disc...

C11 and C9.25

Hi all

Just want to check how much (average price) should I be paying for a C9.25 and C11?
Is there anywhere else to buy celestron beside the shop at science centre?

Appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks,
