Hi, Im not an imager , but both SCTs are f10: focal length to aperture ratio, it might not be the best choice to be starting off with astro-imaging as you need longer exposure times. Compiled some of the "hopefully" visible ones , view in eyepiece should match the DSS images to ensure that Im not staring at a random star field.

Was introduced to this fascinating list earlier this year by a friend via a sky and telescope article , sharing the details here, only Palomar 1 i think is too low in the north for Malaysian dark sites. However the further down the list one goes, not all of them looks like a "sphere/ball" ...
