Think for a start I'm more inclined towards the direction of casual viewing of the sky at night as a whole, lightweight and compact viewing.. I have weak arms too have.. My impression is that there's isn't always a lot of stars in the sky.. So its better to have a wider field of view ..as opposed t...

Gary, one day we must re-do that photo of you pointing to the star. My idea and concept is got ECP open field then put a long bench there with ppl siting on it in a row with them pointing to the southern sky (centaurus, crux). Welcome to singastro. just join some of the singastro star gazing session. Your nearest bet will be Gary's session at TPY or bishan park by Dave. It can save u alot of time figuring out the constellations and the perhaps try out some of the instruments available.
