Mersing Photos
Hi Matthew, Great photos as usual. Few more info on Mersing. Road from Tanjong Resang to the site is more or less fully tarred . There are many street lights now. The horizon also is more bright. I think some barracks are being built. It may be a matter of time before Mersing looses its position as ...

You can find details about this new feature in LX-90 forums and Meade brochures dealing with the Latest Firmware version for Auto Star . Mersing
Hi, The coconut trees are very much there, but it has become more difficult to enter the observing ground from the road. There is good progress in paving the road, but in the process , the level of the road has come up and so become difficult to take the car. We had to look around and luckily there ...

NGC 6231
NGC 6231 is a nice object to observe. It resembles .Pleiades, According to Burnham's Celestial Handbook, if this cluster were the same distance from us as the Pleiades, it would appear about the same size as that cluster, but it would be about fifty times brighter, and its brightest members would sh...

Great site
Hi Matthew,
Congrats.
Great site. It is a valuable contribution to all Am.astronomers and to Singapore Astonomers in purticular
You seem to have thought of everything and spent all those cloudy Singapore nights in the most useful manner to create a professional site.

Neat From Dempsey
Hi Matthew,
The shot is amazing. Your talent had succeeded in bringing out the shy tail. It is true that the format is a bit too small for showing the whole size of tail.

Tail Of NEAT
Hi all, Though I kept a generous amount of digital real estate to the left of the photo for the tail, it was not very clear. From the blobby nature of head , can it be that the tail is behind the head on a vertical plane , at this time , I mean not sideways as with other comets ???. Kochu/10-5-04
