That's not Mars... Mars is currently at the low western sky... it should be the Antares... the heart of the constellation Scorpius. Grrrr, Antares ! :(...... Will do better next time :). Bad news , Saturn (together with Mars) is also currently at the low western sky... May be need to wait till next...

Thanks Weixing. I will try this evening. My area is pretty light polluted hope we can still see Jupiter since it's one of the brightest star in the night sky.

Hi Toolkit, Errr, must admit I know very little about stars :oops: so there's no way I can show my children which one is which. Alvin & Wee Nghee, I once told a teacher friend many children here are deprived because their curiousity is not satisfied. Hahaha, that's so funny and appropriate too! I just told my son about Mars and I received violent protest saying that Jupiter belongs to him.
