This is how the Sun looked today (7Aug 12). The long filament that we saw on 4 and 5 Aug 12 has erupted. Missed that one

The photos were taken on Sat and Sun. Couldn't do imaging today

The filament was especially impressive. I estimated that it's length may have been about 50 times the Earth's diameter!!

Bought the SmartEQ mount for solar imaging.
