My 2nd Overseas DSO & Wide Field Astrophotography Trip, end May 2022
We went to Kampung Mawar again but stayed in different resort. Recently I bought a used 0.8 reducer from C Y Wu. With my new toy, I was able to capture M8 & M20 in a single photo.

My 2nd Overseas DSO & Wide Field Astrophotography Trip, end May 2022
We went to Kampung Mawar again but stayed in different resort. I was lucky to capture MW with Blue Algae at the beach.

We stayed in Kampung Mawar for 2 nights. Thereafter, we travelled South to Tanjung Sedili for DSO and wide field.

Reply from another forum mentioned it was due to reflection inside the telescope from the bright star Alkaid. The solution for some ES users was flocking the inside of the dew/light shield.
