I believe it's the first telescope in Singapore to exceed 0.5m in aperture!
Why not give it some technical-based name, like HM-DSSTT or Half Metre Deep Sky Survey Tropical Telescope.
Definitely must go down to see it!

The Veil is one of my favourite DSOs. In the eyepiece it looks like mysterious ribbons of fire.

Yes, I saw the comet in a Canon 15x50 bino on 22-24 Aug at Mersing:

At that time it was at around mag 6.5. It's now ard mag7.5+.
