M33 Triangulum Galaxy & M2 Cluster
Had a rare super clear night among the recent cloudy and rainy weather. 1st session using APT and it's platesolving with the star adventurer instead of my usual intervalometer. Glad that it worked well. 1st target was M2 cluster, definitely too small for the Redcat's FOV but widefields are always ni...

Re: My astrophotography 2021
Nice set of photos from the past few nights, sorry to hear about all that technical difficulties, hope nothing was badly damaged.
I was trying to shoot andromeda too but I think I could only manage less than 1hr before it being blocked by a building.

M15 Pegasus Cluster
1st proper guiding session, some hiccups but managed a decent image in the end. PHD2 multi-star guiding is phenomenal, managed a keep rate of almost 100% subs compared to about 40% without guiding. Also 1st light for my H-alpha modded D5600. M15, also known as the Great Pegasus Cluster, is a globula...

Re: Pipe Nebula
Thanks! It's quite an interesting region, right next to the lagoon trifid area. Also part of the dark horse nebula.

Pipe Nebula
The Pipe Nebula is part of the Ophiuchus dark cloud complex. Composed by B59, B72, B77 and B78, their combined shape suggests a pipe stem and bowl hence the Pipe Nebula name. It's pipe-shaped dust lane obscures the Milky Way star clouds behind it. Annotated: https://nova.astrometry.net/annotated_ful...
