The AM 114EQ is a bird-jones newtonian with spherical mirror.
You may wish to upgrade to a proper parabolic mirror newtonian in the future if the hobby continues, save the budget for that.

DO NOT buy these kits. The only useful things you need are the barlow and 32mm plossl. For the money if you concentrate only on the 2 items, you can either get better quality or cost savings. The Nexstar SE are altazimuth mounts and slow focal ratio. Not suitable.
For your purpose you need an equatorial mount, they compensate for the rotation that is visible for extended period.

Long refractors will vibrate more (moment arm) compared to shorter tubes, thus require a more stable mount.
