Here's my rendition of the eclipse sequence. The sequence could not be completed due to low lying clouds after totality and i was zombieified by then!

Hi ariefm71, I have carried a 5.5" telescope onboard a trip from America back to Singapore. Not a problem. As long as it is not too bulky and weighs not more than 7-8kg. I have also brought a 2.4" refractor onboard, as well a 3-incher to NZ and Australia. I don't think a 5"SCT or 85mm...

Hi Vincent,
Greatest Eclipse occurs when the effect of totality is the greatest, and when the colouration of the moon is most pronounced.

Actually, all the comet images that you see from myself are taken just outside the clubhouse corridor where the comet can be seen from 5:30AM the last time it was seen, and we have tracked it down till about 6:40AM latest before it is washed out in the sky's morning glare. Might try again on Friday....
